My belief is that > MS is un-treated Lyme. I came up with the very same thought this morning as I was doing a bit of research. Here are the tentative recommendations for MS. Since many bacteria, viruses, fungi, amoeba, etc are hosted by parasites when these conditions are chronic, a good antiparasitic regimen is advised. And this is something I have been meaning to recommend to the Lyme sufferers on this list while they are building or experimenting with their machines to perhaps get a leg up. Multiple Sclerosis Everyone who I have heard about recovering from this disease has had their mercury fillings removed. Avoid all metals as detailed in The Cure for all Diseases, or Toxin Reduction in the Home and Diet. Selenium is one of the few supplements investigated by conventional researchers that helps MS patients, according to Michael Murray (pres of Bastyr college - a pretty good naturopath). Selenium binds mercury. Vitamin E assists selenium. Some think that mercury or other heavy metals can attach to myelin sheaths, and cause one's immune system to attack them, or be directly toxic. Some people have gotten statements from their dentists that replacement of their mercury fillings was necessary since they were getting old and they had them replaced with plastic ones, and their insurance picked up the cost minus deductible. Many chronic bacterial or viral infections are caused by parasites, so an antiparasitic regimen is included in the basic regimen. Although parasites can be addressed quite well with herbs, this is one of the few diseases I feel a bioelectronic device, like a zapper or Rife/Bare generator, is absolutely necessary. Parasites usually cause excess histamine response, which is common in autoimmune conditions. If there are allergies of any type, start slowly on the herbs below and build up to ensure no reactions. For allergies, see Diet and Supplement Tips and follow the Stones, Crystals, and Deposits regimen, adding yellowdock and silymarin, and follow with liver cleanses until there are none. Also see Diet and Supplement Tips and follow dairy advice, using no unsterilized dairy products, and see advice on handling chicken, replace dish towels and dish rags daily, and use perfect hygiene in the kitchen and bathroom. Follow Zone diet, or imperfect zone diet, as detailed in Diet and Supplement Tips, avoiding starches and sugars whenever possible, and using coldwater fish for protein when possible. Eat no hydrogenated oils, the type usually in processed foods, nor trans fats, the kind in fried foods, margarines, and most processed oils. Basic supplement regimen: Good multivitamin daily which contains 200mcg selenium and adequate vitamin E, like VegLife Multi. Good multimineral daily like Solaray Cal-Mag Citrate or Now Calcium Citrate (contains magnesium). The Solaray product is acceptable taken at half dosage. EPA/DHA fish oil capsules. 1000mg EPA/DHA per day. GLA. 20mg per day (and no more). This is the amount found in one _low potency_ evening primrose oil capsule or 4 spirulina capsules. Turmeric. 1/2 teaspoon powder twice per day. Capsules are available at some herb shops if this cannot be tolerated - use 2, twice per day. Now Silymarin, which is mostly turmeric, can be used instead. Fennel Seeds. 1/2 teaspoon twice per day. Use more, up to 2 tablespoons, if turmeric (or anything else) causes stomach upset. Cloves. Whole ones from the market. The spice buds, not garlic. Preground cloves will _not_ suffice. They must be ground and packed into capsules oneself. Take 3, 3x day for one month. Wormwood annua. Take 7 capsules twice per day for one month. Nature's Way Black Walnut Hulls, or other brand as long as it specifies that hulls were harvested green. Take at double dosage for one month. Green hull extract or green extra strength tincture is preferable to this, but is more difficult to find. Cat's claw. Use at double recommended dosage for one month. Build up slowly to ensure there is no reaction to this, since it greatly increases immune reponse, so could theoretically make the condition worse, although all the anecdotes I have heard indicate it helps with autoimmune conditions. Optional, use if there is no good response for lyme or MS within three weeks: Goldenseal root. Take at double recommended dosage for one month. Cayenne pepper. Take at recommended dosage for capsules, or 1/4-1/2 teaspoon twice per day. Use zapper or other bioelectronic antipathogenic daily. IF mercury is in the mouth and will not be removed, also add the following: Lipoic (aka thioctic) acid. It is a chelating agent for heavy metals and a good antioxidant. Solaray Tetracleanse, Nature's Secret AM/PM Cleanse, or Perfect 7. Should be used if there are constipation problems regardless of mercury. Astragalus. This is a good source of selenium and effective, yet cheap, immune booster. There is also a homeopathic remedy that supposedly expels mercury from the body. I have no idea if it works, but noticed an ad for it in the GNC magazine, so I suppose they sell it there. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Disclaimer.
