Advisory update, 12 October 1999 We have decided to put all files into Acrobat PDF (Portable Document Format). The main reason is space, but documents in this format retain their original format, and Acrobat Reader is readily available for free from the Acrobat Web site (www.acrobat.com) If an article appears and refers to any image, a pointer (image_name.xxx) to the image index will be inserted. Otherwise, all textfiles are as they were when submitted. No editing by the RCRS will be undertaken. This is left to the contributors. If you find an expired URL, or know the correct address, please notify us by sending an email to: rsc@navi.net For Physics Index: All writers are encouraged to contribute their essays, articles, or notes to this index, preferably in PDF format. Feel free to recommend new subindexes. --- Good sites for physics: ======================= We are happy to host a copy of Dr. Wallace's book: The Farce of Physics, which has it's own sub-directory. In the future we will have other of his articles with images as well. We recommend you visit Dr. Wallace's web site:http://home1.gte.net/wallaceb/index.htm and follow the links he provides as well. -------- We also highly recommend William Beatty's SCIENCE HOBBYIST web site: http://www.eskimo.com/~billb/ Dr. Beatty's site is a water-hole for avid experimentalists, theorists, or both, and one will find an almost endless array of fascinating, profound and exciting material there, with links to numerous projects and researchers from around the world. It is an educational site and children friendly. ======================== As time goes by, other links will be added to this advisory.
