Dear Tom, I feel that it will be a disaster if nuclear industry is allowed to spread. Our two Stations here in Wales are being closed and the spread of nuclear weaponry is an obvious threat. At present the US is within range of missiles from eg North Korea, and the anti missile missile defences are known now to be ineffective against crude scuds, so watch out! (Evans and Kovak on TV every week). Anyone who saw the brutal exploitation in the coal fields will agree with your views on unionisation. The Third World is of course brutally exploited every day. Approaching rich individuals could work. Everyone knows that censorship is neutralized by the demonstration of a working device. What are they going to do - prohibit energy saving in people's homes? Then tear up the US Constitution. The attitude of Taylor at Bangor shows that I am personally going to be starved into submission, i.e. a lock-out attitude against striking coal miners. Actually, Maxwell's theory does prescribe overunity EM systems, BEFORE the electrodynamicists ARBITRARILY tinker with the equations and change them. You can check this for yourself in Jackson, Classical Electrodynamics, 2nd Edition (about p. 220-223, I think). In potential form, the Heaviside interpretation of Maxwell's equations (which is what is actually taught as "Maxwell's equations) is two coupled equations (variables are not separated). So for mathematical ease, the old electrodynamicists just symmetrically regauged (i.e., they changed both potentials arbitrarily, but in a highly selected manner, so that no NET force remained from the regauging.) (Regauging just means "changing one or more potentials." Symmetrical regauging just means changing one or more potentials in such a fashion that no NET free force remains, even though you may create one or more FREE FORCES. Asymmetrical regauging is just changing one or more potentials in such a fashion that a NET free force does remain.) You see, if you (1) freely change the energy of a system, and (2) also have a free force created so that you could use that energy to drive that force against a resistance, well then you could do free work! Of course that must be a no no! Then you would just be freely extracting energy from the vacuum and using it to power loads! Changing a potential in a system is changing the potential energy in the system, FREELY. In theory that does not cost you anything. Electrodynamicists themselves say so. Anyway, by SYMMETRICALLY regauging arbitrarily, they could only do it by ASYMMETRICALLY regauging twice simultaneously. So of all the infinite set of such "two simultaneous regaugings" that could be done, they deliberately chose only such as would NOT leave a net force. In other words, they carefully selected two asymmetrical regaugings such that, while each one produced an energy change in the system freely, and also produced a free new force, the two forces were precisely equal and opposite. Thus those two forces (which constitute a stress) could not translate anything and do work, because they fought each other to a draw. The NEW set of "Maxwell's equations" that resulted -- for this highly reduced subset of Maxwellian systems -- had the variables separated, and is much easier to solve mathematically. But what has been done? The energy of the system has been freely change TWICE. The electrodynamicists therefore assume already that the ENERGY IN A SYSTEM CAN BE CHANGED FREELY AT WILL. But of all such changes, only a tiny little subset was selected, one where the two forces canceled and thus just STRESSED THE SYSTEM. What this means is that they assumed the energy of the system has been freely altered and the system has been forcibly keel-hauled into equilibrium in its energy exchange with its external vacuum environment! In ther words, they selected only that small subset of Maxwellian systems where equilibrium thermodynamics -- with its infamous second law -- rigorously applies. If your equation models only systems which can never collect any excess energy from the vacuum and use it, you have already ARBITRARILY excluded that vast set of overunity Maxwellian systems that do receive, collect, and freely dissipate in loads some of the vacuum energy from the vacuum energy exchange. Well, they hung this mess together only by violating the most sacrosanct law in all physics: Energy cannot be created or destroyed. So now, by ASSERTING that the vacuum is empty and inert, they ASSUME that the charges are the primary sources of the fields and potentials. In other words, the fields and potentials -- and their associated energy content -- fill all space surrounding their source charges. ELECTRODYNAMICS PRESENTLY ASSUMES THAT THE CHARGES JUST CREATE ALL THAT ENERGY RIGHT OUT OF NOTHING, FROM NOWHERE, AND POUR IT OUT INCESSANTLY AND FOR BILLIONS OF YEARS. The electrodynamicists already ASSUME the very "perpetual motion machines" that they often accuse us free energy researchers of advocating! All you have to do is apply the master conservation of energy law to the charges. ENERGY CANNOT BE CREATED OR DESTROYED BY THOSE CHARGES! Why such a gross blunder has continued in electrodynamics, with hundreds of thousands of Doctoral and Master degrees having been granted over the last century, is completely inexplicable. In particle physics, the resolution to this classical EM assumption of perpetual motion machine charges has been known and proven for 40 years -- but no one changes the faulty old electrodynamics theory whose creaky oundations now are some 130 years old! A charge is a broken symmetry in the virtual particle flux of the vacuum. That's particle physics, not Tom Bearden. By the very definition of "broken symmetry," this means that (1) in the continual violent absorption of virtual photons from the vacuum and re-radiation of them back to the vacuum, the charge "coheres" some of the received virtual photons into OBSERVABLE-sized groups, and radiates them back to the vacuum in what we call OBSERVABLE form. Well, in electrodynamics there is only one observable form of EM energy flow from a source charge, and that is the Poynting flow. So it is the vacuum flux interacting with the charge's broken symmetry that actually DRIVES the production of an intense energy flow from the charge -- the charge is merely extracting that energy from the vacuum all the time. THAT'S WHAT CHARGES DO, UNIVERSALLY, ACCORDING TO PARTICLE PHYSICS. A CHARGE IS ALREADY AN OPEN SYSTEM, FREELY RECEIVING VACUUM ENERGY IN VIRTUAL FORM, COHERING SOME OF IT INTO OBSERVABLE FORM, AND FREELY RADIATING OUT IN ALL DIRECTIONS THAT OBSERVABLE ENERGY FLOW. It is that radiated Poynting energy flow, whose energy is received and extracted from the vacuum flux, that CREATES and establishes the EM potentials and fields surrounding every source charge (electrical or magnetic). Every charge in the universe is already an overunity electrodynamic energy generator. Classical equilibrium thermodynamics does not apply to it; instead, the nonlinear thermodynamics of open systems far from thermodynamic equilibrium applies. The same is true for a dipole. In electrodynamics, it may surprise you to know that the fields and potentials ARE NOT DEFINED AT ALL IN THE VACUUM! Forget what your professor taught you, he lied to you. Forget what is in all the textbooks about an E-field and a B- field in the vacuum; it is a lie. RUTHLESSLY THE FIELDS AND POTENTIALS IN ELECTRODYNAMICS ARE ONLY DEFINED AS SUCH AFTER THAT POYNTING FLOW IMPINGES UPON A POINT COULOMB OF CHARGED MASS, WHICH THE ELECTRODYNAMICISTS ASSUME TO EXIST AT EACH AND EVERY POINT IN SPACE. [Originally this was because Faraday and Maxwell and all the rest firmly believed in the material ether, which material ether -- not the ether itself -- was destroyed by the Michelson- Morley experiments in the 1880s.] The geometrical spoiling (divergence) by the point coulomb's interception of that Poynting flow results in a steady "amount" of spoiling upon the collecting coulomb, continuously present in that dynamic, ongoing process. The AMOUNT of that energy steadily collected and present upon a single point coulomb is called the MAGNITUDE OF THE SCALAR POTENTIAL. It is no such thing. How much water you collect from a river, is NOT the magnitude of the river's flow! How much energy a standard intercepting charge collects (diverts) from an impinging Poynting energy flow is NOT the magnitude of the entire impinging Poynting energy flow! Actually in a nominal case, the amount of the entire Poynting density flow will be on the order of 10exp(13) times as much as the standard intercepting charge intercepts and collects. All the rest of that vast energy density flow is nondivergent (not intercepted and diverged) and so is usually just wasted by all our single-pass, single collection circuits. By retroreflecting that huge energy flow, however, after it has already passed the intercepting collector, you can bring it back around and run it through there again for an additional interception, divergence and collection. You can collect more energy from the same energy flow every time you run it back across the interceptor-diverger. Then if you will deliberately construct your circuit so that it does NOT use half the collected energy to kill its source dipole, you can build an overunity circuit that will extract excess energy from the vacuum, output more energy to a load than you yourself furnish to the device to run it, and power the load with COP>1.0. If you produce a circuit with substantial gain (say, COP = 5), then you can take off part of the output of the system and feed it back to your own input, with rigid clamping so that only a fixed positive feedback amount is returned, and you will have a self-powered circuit that powers itself while powering the load. No law of physics or thermodynamics is violated; you have built a permissible Maxwellian system which is an open system far from equilibrium in its vacuum flux exchange. It extracts some of the energy from that exchange, collects it in the circuit, then uses that freely extracted energy to power the load and itself. Such systems are definitely permitted by the Heaviside- Maxwell equations before artificial alteration of them. Here's another lie foisted upon us all. Most scientists, engineers, and free energy researchers mistakenly believe that from one joule of energy you can only get one joule of work. That is not true at all. When you "use" a joule of collected energy, you destroy the collecting process., not the energy itself. The energy is still there, although its flow direction may be changed and it may no longer be being intercepted. You never, never "get rid of" a single joule of energy when you do work. You just change the energy flow in some fashion; you never consume it. You are absolutely free to recycle that remaining energy flow, and use it again and again, as many times as achievable y your development of the technology for recycling. You can recycle (simplest case: retroreflect) that remaining energy flow AFTER you have done that joule of work already. Then you can get another joule of work, and recyle the scattered energy again, and get another joule of work, etc. THERE IS NO CONSERVATION OF WORK LAW IN PHYSICS. God gave us all the energy in the universe, at the original creation, big bang, whatever. And it is inviolate. We can use it over and over, forever, and we can never destroy a single microjoule. And the Work-energy theorem that we all studied was only a special case. In electrodynamics, the work-energy theorem is just the simple equation W = (phi)q, where W is joules of energy (collection) from a potential phi (already defined only in terms of how much is collected from its intercepted by a point coulomb) and q is the number of intercepting/flow-diverging (collecting) coulombs. That equation W = (phi)q assumes implicitly a single-pass of the energy flow. For multiple passes, and multiple recollections, you have to modify the equation. I added a new parameter, (lambda), to the equation. So now the extended work-energy theorem is W = (lambda)(phi)q. For most common cases, lambda is just 1.0 and so it folds down to the same old work-energy theorem. However, for multipass, multicollection systems, lambda can be greater than 1.0. In that case we have systems which can output more energy than the operator inputs. The excess energy, of course, is just lifted right out of the vacuum by dipolar broken symmetry , which is driving everything anyway. The Patterson device, Lawandy's lasing without population inversion, and anti- Stokes emission (known to be overunity for more than 50 years) are all using the new work-energy theorem because they are multi-pass, multicollection systems and lambda is a little greater than 1.0. Anyway, hope this answers your question and sets things into proper perspective. It is the orthodox ARBITRARY curtailment of Maxwell's theory that is wrong, not us free energy researchers. We will yet see practical, working overunity devices. The danger right now is the emergence of a new Big Nuclear consortium and cabal, composed of Big Science, the Nuclear Science and Accelerator community, the Hot Fusion community, politicians, government, and industry. They have even tricked the environmental activists big time. They have mightily suppressed cold fusion. They continue to mightily suppress overunity EM research as if it were the bubonic plague. Quietly, they apparently have notified the U.S. patent office not to process any patents which would conflict with nuclear power plants and hot fusion. Also, they apparently have quietly notified universities that, if even a single grad student is working on one of these unorthodox energy things such as cold fusion, all government research funding will be withdrawn from that university. Here's how they tricked the environmental activists so royally. First, NAFTA and GATT are treaties that essentially are exporting better U.S. jobs, manufacturing, assembly, etc. to 3rd world countries that (1) can be bought (their politicians can be!) easily, and (2) have little or no environmental regulations, and (3) have cheap labor -- so cheap and without worker benefits, that we would call it "slave labor" in this country. Wipes out 200 years of the labor union movement (gee, young folks today have no notion at all of what a bloody, fierce struggle it was to get decent work hours, child labor laws, some worked benefits, etc. So they are doomed to repeat the bitter economic lesson their forefathers already paid for in blood.). Now comes a propaganda campaign against hydrocarbon fuel combustion products and a great clamor warning of global warming and impending doom. Notice how nuclear power and Big Nuclear Science was quiet as a churchmouse and downplayed. This combination of global warning and hydrocarbon emissions suckered in the environmental activists, to support the cause. Hydrocarbon emissions and combustion pollutants ARE insane! No argument about that at all! But the way to really reduce it without bespoiling the environment and biosphere, is to vigorously pursue cold fusion (the electronuclear reaction) and overunity EM Maxwellian systems. The present contemptuous disinformational movement is not about reduction of environmental pollution at all, but is about Big Money, Big Power, and Big Nuclear ruthless takeover of science policy to guarantee showers of many billions of dollars upon the Big Nuke cartel. The financial rewards, power, prestige, and control involved in this massive disinformation movement has the hidden financial controllers positively salivating with anticipation at their coming bonanza, gigantic ripoff of the U.S. taxpayers, and great new position "on top and in control of it all." So Clinton got the new treaty signed, which is a wolf in sheep's clothing. First, it will only severely limit the hydrocarbon emissions from the U.S. and carefully selected countries (lots of allies of the U.S.). Some 160 countries are not limited AT ALL. Big Oil will continue to pour into those countries (after all, NAFTA and GATT are insuring that the heavy industries and manufacturing etc. are going to those countries in the first place; they are going to have to build lots of electrical power plants, chemical plants, etc. in order to keep up with all those new factories.). So the hydrocarbon emissions will grow apace in those countries without limit. The hydrocarbon emissions will INCREASE, not decrease. The treaty WILL be ratified by the U.S. Senate. The leaders of both the Republicans and the Democrats are already for it. LOTS of money, campaign contributions, PAC contributions, etc. are going to change hands here. This has been a deliberate plan, executed over several years or even a decade. It has been orchestrated and spin-doctored to perfection. It has in fact fooled the entire activist environmental community. Meanwhile -- and here's where the environmental activists were hornswoggled -- suddenly the big nuclear power plants are the "only option" available to those countries who ARE affected by the new treaty -- the U.S. and its allies, etc. BINGO! now you have it. That will guarantee that massive funding continues and increases for the Big Nuclear industry and science area, Hot Fusion, etc. A campaign will be mounted that we must enter into a great new race to achieve hot fusion. Meanwhile, so the story will go, we will build new nuclear power plants like crazy, so we can reduce or rid ourselves of the coal-burning and oil-burning power plants. What a financial bonanza! To say that the consortium is euphoric over these magnificent prospects is to put it mildly. So we will see strong publications continuing to pooh-pooh cold fusion and overunity Maxwellian EM systems that extract energy freely from the vacuum and use it. Lorentz's symmetrical regauging condition -- which discards all those free energy Maxwellian systems arbitrarily -- will stay on like iron, as will the practice of building circuits which destroy their own source dipoles, so that one must continually fuel them. There is still no solution to the problem of radioactive waste pollution and storage. There isn't going to be until the electronuclear reaction is developed and exploited, to simply process the waste and get rid of most or all of the radioactivity. Latest trial balloon (see a recent Scientific American article, e.g.) is to just bury the mess in some of the deep "stable" mudflats on the bottom of the ocean! (Seems that decades ago we already saw what putting that mess on the bottom of the ocean does to the ecosphere!) Blunt truth is that we can have cheap, clean energy systems within two years, whenever we can get the science community, government, and politicians to fund the necessary team and facilities. Note, however, that this group is the very cabal that is now running headlong, eyes bulging and tongues panting, toward massive hydrocarbon burning in the 160 countries and massive Big Nuke powerplants in the U.S. and its developed allies. The MONEY that is involved and that will change hands -- with most of it sticking to the new consortium and its servants -- is enormous. We are talking of trillions of dollars here. All the power cliques are euphoric. Politicians are happy (gad, think of the money that will roll in to bankroll their campaigns, in return for them supporting this treaty! Big speeches to be made at handsome honoraria! Big lucrative positions in political nonprofit organizations after they leave government! The National Labs are ecstatic (NRL, NOL, Los Alamos, Sandia, Lawrence Livermore, Oak Ridge, you name it!) Big Science is deliriously happy (lots more money, lots more power, lots more prestige for those gnomes who control the money, what is allowed to be undertaken in research, etc.). Universities will be handsomely rewarded and happy IF THEY PLAY THE GAME. Lots more money if they switch into nuclear-power-related research, further the cause, etc. and stay out of cold fusion, overunity Maxwellian electrodynamic systems, vacuum engine systems, vacuum engineering, etc. They will be severely chastised if they DO NO play the game. So also for the science journals (recall that the IRS nearly took away their tax exempt status a few years ago? If they do not play ball, guess what will happen to them!) Big Industry is happy (keep pumping the oil, build more tankers, build up lots of new power plants and factories in those 160 countries so they can handle the industry that GATT and NAFTA is pouring into them. Build lots of new nuclear power plants here in the U.S. and in the "developed" countries not on the 160 list. Pour hundreds of new billions into feverish Hot Fusion research (gad, what a WPA that has been and now will be). Probably resurrect the massive collider, lots of big, expensive new projects. Lots of power, prestige, importance. This thing is set up like a huge herd of hogs on a pig farm, just before feeding time. The Farmers-Controllers have yelled "Sooeee pig!" and the entire herd is on the verge of bolting madly toward the feed troughs. The news media is completely hornswoggled. They really believe all those Big Science representatives (guess how well those representatives are positioned in this coming feeding frenzy!) who assure them that Big Nuke is the only way to go, that cold fusion researchers are addled in the head, and that overunity electrodynamics researchers are just out and out loonies, and that this new treaty is the greatest environmental thing since sliced cheese. The only chance the environmental activists have remaining to them, after their terrible faux pas, is to tear their eyes loose from windmills, waterwheels, the siren song droned into them incessantly about the glories of the new treaty, rolling things back to the stone age, etc. They should get into overunity electrodynamics and cold fusion (the electronuclear reaction) with a vengeance. Their greatest battlecry ought to be fierce pressure to insist that the hoary old seriously flawed electrodynamics is modernized at all speed, so that free energy systems can come into their own. THEY MUST REALIZE THAT BIG SCIENCE, BIG POLITICS, AND BIG NUKE LABS AND INDUSTRY are all in a loose consortium against them. They should adjust their fierce activism accordingly, and go after the cartel that has reeled them in on a hook. The entire overunity and electronuclear area is crying for lack of funding. With some funding to really fine scientists, the activists themselves could simply go ahead and solve the problem. We are NOT talking about venture capital! Behind that, if you trace it far enough, almost inevitably you will find the same cartel. Guess how much chance one of those ventures is actually going to have, once they negotiate effective control of an embryonic free energy project. What is needed is (1) independent PERSONAL wealthy patrons. All science is patronized. The control of science -- which is bigtime -- is achieved by controlling the patronate, the flow of funding down to the scientists. The huge Big Science bureacracy that is involved in controlling all the steps for those funds, positively insures the suppression of funds to the true innovators. It gets lots of funds, however, to the same universities that play the game, to the big companies that play the game, etc. (2) an iron percentage (say, 2%) of the energy research budget placed in a control group under the direct control of the environmentalists, and with a charter permitting ONLY research in overunity Maxwellian systems and the electronuclear reaction (such as cold fusion). That organization should be ruthlessly policed by the activists, and extreme pressure placed on Congress to keep it supported. But so far we've not heard a peep from the environmental activists, other than to (sadly) just mouth the beautiful line they've been fed by the cynical consortium. They have been mistakenly led to believe that the new treaty is a big step forward. They have a ring in their nose and are being led like a bull. The line they have been fed, and the new treaty so highly touted, are a big step backward because ONCE AGAIN IT HAS CREATED A GREAT NEW CRACKDOWN AND WITCHHUNT AGAINST INNOVATIVE SCIENCE. THE VERY SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH THAT IS DESPERATELY NEEDED TO REALIZE THE GOALS OF THE ENVIRONMENTALISTS, HAS NOW BEEN GUARANTEED RUTHLESS SUPPRESSION, AND THE ENVIRONMENTAL ACTIVISTS HAVE PLAYED A MAJOR ROLE IN HELPING DEFEAT THEMSELVES AND ASSURE THE RAPE AND POLLUTION OF THE BIOSPHERE. The environmentalists have unwittingly played a major role in cutting their own throat, so to speak. Anyway, welcome to the new consortium and its great master plan to further pollute the world, roll back wages, reduce the workers of the world to a new economic serfdom, and restore what can only be called a "new feudalism". Watch for increasing "sudden deaths" amongst the ranks of the overunity researchers. I have not investigated Marinov's death, but those who have, have reported a most unusual phenomenon: Reportedly, the pavement on which Marinov's body lay, glowed and emitted light! If that is true (I do not know this first hand, let us clearly understand that!), then there is only one kind of weapon that can and will kill a body in such fashion that the struck body emits radiation from vacuum engines (as does Patterson's device when the power to it is cut off) for hours, sufficient to activate the materials in close contact so that it also emits radiation. Only a kill by longitudinal EM radiation will do that to a body. If the report is true, that would very much explain why the authorities chose not to report Marinov's death to his family, etc. as it would have been desirable to wait while the emitted radiation died down.
